Ruth Mohamed is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Nevada who is currently pursuing her clinical license. As an employee with Eagle Quest, she is working with adolescents who have mental and behavioral health problems. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with her Bachelor’s in Meeting and Events Management in 2008. She decided to follow her passion and obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also works as a full-time school social worker with the Clark County School District and works with elementary school age children. At Eagle Quest, she is focused on facilitating supportive and psychotherapy services such as individual counseling and group therapy to address needs of children and their social emotional learning. She utilizes evidence-based techniques in her interventions, such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. She is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional and will be working towards being trained in Family Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, meditating, being outdoors, and cooking.
