This Las Vegas native had an “ah-ha moment” when she volunteered in a program called Wednesday’s Child in 7th grade. At this event, she found out and faced first hand what foster care was and realized how lucky she was to have a family. Since then, Edylynn has dedicated her life to being an advocate for at-risk youth and families. She studied Psychology at UNLV, and held the positions of Philanthropy Chair and Social Chair at Delta Zeta Sorority. As Philanthropy Chair, Edylynn worked with children in Safe Key, visited Children’s Hospital, and volunteered many hours for speech and hearing organizations for tutoring and fundraising initiatives. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and craft projects, reading, yoga and singing karokee.
