Activities Specialist

Job description Eagle Quest is expanding and needs an additional team member for our EQ Adventure Program! This Program provides opportunities for youth to have access to different activities that include:

Sports, Games, Arts & Crafts, Camping, Hiking, Family Events and more! Eagle Quest has a facility for the activities (including a gym, rec room, computer lab, and arts & crafts area) as well as the capacity to hold events for youth throughout the community.

 

Eagle Quest is looking for a candidate who has experience working with youth as a teacher, camp counselor, coach, or in another recreational/academic/youth-centered setting. The Activities Specialist will work directly with the youth each day the center is open and at the different events hosted by the program. The Activities Specialist will help develop different activities, plan events, maintain youth information, connect with families, and ensure the facility is maintained. The Activities Specialist will also work with the team to ensure excellent customer service and a positive experience is provided to all.

The Activities Specialist will participate in the overnight camp sessions in Bear Valley, Utah. This is an opportunity for a Part-Time position with a schedule that includes weekday evenings (this can vary when school is out). This program also includes a camp experience for youth. Candidates must be able to participate in 4-day overnight camps (Monday-Thursday) during late June through July.
