Casey Kanarek is a Las Vegas native, born and raised. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Child Development, and her Master of Social Work at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has been working in the mental health field since 2015 as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) doing Psychosocial Rehabilitation and is now a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) through Nevada Medicaid. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the State of Nevada. She has always had a passion for seeking to understand people, helping them feel validated, and empowering them to overcome their struggles and live a healthy and fulfilled life. Using her education and related work experience, she primarily uses a client-centered approach as she believes each individual is the expert of his/her own life. In her personal life, Casey enjoys traveling, hiking, spending quality time with her family and friends, and volunteering at summer camps.
